Hello everyone!

One more useful informative post. This time thinking about the most basic things we all should carry on our health kit when travelling, thanks to a fruitful Skype conversation I had with my dad recently. He has medical knowledge as well, so his ideas and support have given me lots of inspiration and good tips for you. Thanks, Dad!

We were talking about my last article (sugar cravings when we are stressed out and why does this happen) and he suddenly came to a conclusion when thinking of the most basic things we should have with us every time.

I have showed you what a first aid kit for travel should look like, which is quite complete and practical at the same time. But even on our daily lives, my Dad suggests having three main things with us at all times. As it makes complete sense and it’s great advice, I want to share it with you all so you can make your own conclusions and get your purse/bag ready with just these three items you all know well:

Paracetamol/Acetaminophen

A simple medication with little to worry about for most of the world population. An effective pain killer that will help at all times when having anything ranging from a headache to an acute stronger pain. If a serious medical situation is going on, you will go to the nearest hospital, but taking a pain killer in the meantime will always be helpful. Paracetamol up to 1 gr on one take it’s allowed.

Antiallergic Pills

All pills used for common sinus and flu are always handy when travelling. Why? They all have antiallergic components. Which means they are useful when having any kind of allergic reaction: insect/mosquito bites, food, skin reactions and more. With a mild but effective response, these can always diminish a reaction before it goes further. Smart one to carry!

Candy

Candies are a definite MUST when we travel. As simple as it is, a candy and its sugar load can help the body in amazingly serious situations such as a sudden low on blood sugar levels. If you want to learn why sugar is so important and how to react when feeling dizzy, nauseous and weak, please read my post on this topic.

Simple and good advice, right?

Now you know how to prevent and be safe with these three most basic items you can carry with you at all times when travelling or when simply going on your daily life.

If you feel this is greatly useful info, please share it with your people. Let’s create a good health campaign and prevention habits by sharing the knowledge!
